What to expect at Missio Church

Missio Church is one congregation in two locations in Downtown Syracuse & Cazenovia. Our services start at 10:00am. We worship God together every week through the teaching of God’s Word, corporate singing and prayer, and the celebration of communion.

What does 'Missio' mean?

Missio comes from the historic Latin phrase Missio Dei meaning Mission of God. The idea being that the church is the people of God which exists for the glory of God (Gloria Dei), participating in the mission of God (Missio Dei), giving every man, woman, and child made in the image of God (Imago Dei) repeated opportunities to see, hear, and respond to the gospel of Jesus Christ.

For the Glory of God, For the Good of Our Communities

Our MissioKids ministry is of the utmost importance to us here at Missio Church. It’s the desire of our staff and exceptional volunteers to partner with parents & guardians to teach children how Jesus Christ is the hero of the entire story of the Bible, and the One who changes all of life.
